Cumin Seeds – Whole Jeera
الحكاية
لماذا ستحبه
The sound of a proper tadka. Our Cumin Seeds are plump, whole jeera with a warm, nutty, faintly smoky aroma that blooms the moment they hit hot oil or ghee. Hand-cleaned and well-sorted, they are the first thing into the pan for dals, rice, sabzi and raita — and just as good dry-roasted and crushed over chaat and salads.
Highlights
- Whole cumin (jeera) seeds — plump, aromatic and well-sorted
- Warm, nutty aroma that blooms in hot oil or ghee
- Essential for tempering dals, rice, sabzi and raita
- Hand-cleaned — no stems or grit
How to use: Add to hot oil or ghee at the start of cooking for tadka. Dry-roast and crush over raita, chaas and chaat.
Storage: Airtight, cool and dry. Whole seeds hold their aroma far longer than ground.

Small-batch Indian spice vs supermarket spice
Why our spices are different
Most supermarket spices are ground months in advance, blended for consistency, and stripped of origin. TAMRA spices arrive as whole seeds, roots, and pods from known Indian farms, then milled in small batches in our FSSAI-licensed kitchen.
